Oakberry Farms
Oakberry is a small grower and packer of Blueberries based in the Waikato. We grow, southern highbush in tunnels, traditional highbush and rabbiteye, we have been growing for more than 25 years and packing for others for 15 years, there are now 23 growers in our team.
From small beginnings we have evolved to pack over 600 tons, 320,000 trays, we have achieved this by always focusing on quality, building partnerships with good people and companies and investing and innovating with the latest technology.
We are more than a packer, we work extremely closely with our grower team to build a detailed understanding of their production quality and timing, this when teamed with The Fresh Berry Co and Driscoll’s means prices can be maximized for growers, this link into Australia gives us access second to none and we have strong domestic team for all fruit which cannot be exported.
Our agronomy support through farm visits, field days, an annual conference, field guides produced by us for our team to better understand all things blueberry, regular update emails, reports and on-call support helps our growers grow their quality, production and business.
