Any owner, leasee or licensee of land, who wishes to supply blueberries for sale is required to pay levies to Blueberries NZ Inc. No person may supply blueberries for sale unless they pay levies on the sales.

Conditions of Registration with Blueberries NZ Inc:

  1. Payment of the specified registration fee and furnishing of the completed registration form for all growers, for both local production and export fruit.
  2. Growers of blueberries exporting fresh must comply with the Quality Control Programme for fresh export of blueberries which includes 
    • Submitting an accurately completed spray diary to Geoff Langford,  PO Box 51, Lincoln, Christchurch ph 03 977 7345   Email: Geoff Langford
    • submitting 500 gms of berries for spray residue sampling
    • allowing product to be sampled at random as part of the industry’s monitoring programme
    • packing fresh export blueberries to the export grade standard and complying with all the other quality management requirements stated in the Blueberry Quality Manual.
  3. Paying all levies due.
  4. Details of planned and actual production will be supplied when requested by Blueberries NZ Inc.
  5. Registration in no way guarantees export of product.
  6. Blueberries NZ Inc (and contractors thereto) will follow the guidelines of confidentiality as set out in the Privacy Act. The grower authorises Blueberries NZ Inc (and contractors thereof) to use the personal information provided internally for purposes related to the performance of Blueberries NZ Inc obligations.
  7. From time to time the Secretary receives requests from potential buyers and sellers of industry related supplies to communicate with our members. Do you want this information  to be sent to you? If you do not, please cross out clause 7 and initial.

REGISTRATION FEE:

Grower Registration Fee     $230.00     Incl GST          

MRL Testing $345.00     Incl GST

Growers producing more than 2000 kgs of fruit will have the registration fee ($200) deducted from their levy payment.

Blueberries NZ Bank Account: 02 0500 0593797 00 payments should include organisation or trading name as reference for payment.
